Will.i.am Has QUIT The Voice!

Will.i.am’s nonsensical rants were pretty much the only things getting us through the last series of The Voice, so imagine our shock when we found out today that he’s only gone and QUIT the show!

According to the Daily Star, BBC bosses are desperate to keep the former Black Eyed Peas star on the show – even offering him a shed-load of extra cash after Rita Ora thought ‘screw this’ and headed off to The X Factor.

But apparently, Will just ain’t that keen anymore, and replacements are already being looked into as a precaution – with Jason Derulo currently being sized up by BBC bosses.

Speaking to the paper, a source close to the show said:“Will has been in discussions with producers but decided he doesn’t want to return this year.”

“He’s disappointed Rita Ora left and is frustrated the show has failed to produce an international star.”

Aren’t we all love.

The source added that he “was especially upset his former contestant Leah McFall failed to set the charts alight.”

Has anyone from The Voice set the charts alight though, Will?

But whilst Will’s departure is all very sad and that, take comfort in the rumours currently circulating saying that Sir Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson will both be back this year – presumably getting all competitive and that over whoever this year’s lady judge is going to be (HINT: IT’S NOT JOSS STONE).

BBC bosses are all keeping very much 'schtum’ on the matter of judges for next year, saying absolutely NADA except for that 'negotiations are still ongoing for the next series’ – i.e. they haven’t got a friggin’ clue what’s going on.

Anyway, here’s to you Will.i.am and your collection of mental hats – they brightened up our Saturday evenings SO MUCH. x
