Opening up to her mum and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Jones on their latest Red Table Talk on Facebook, the star revealed she was interested in “throuple” relationships, where three people are romantically involved.
“I love men and women equally and so I would definitely want one man, one woman,” she said.
“I feel like I could be polyfidelotous with those two people.
“I’m not the kind of person that is constantly looking for new sexual experiences.
“I focus a lot on the emotional connection and I feel like if I were to find two people of the different genders that I really connected with and we had a romantic and sexual connection, I don’t feel like I would feel the need to try to go find more.”
However, while polyamorous romances can include more partners, Smith said two others would be enough for her in a relationship.
“I couldn’t see myself in a quadruple, I mean, anything could happen,” Willow said.
“Personally, male and female - that’s all I need,” she added.
Smith’s grandmother said she was not entirely behind the idea although she was trying to remain open-minded.

Pinkett Smith said she would support her daughter in whatever she chose, saying: “Listen, you know me, Willow - whatever makes you happy.”
The actress also spilled the beans about her own sexual history, saying she had a threesome when she was young.
However, Pinkett Smith said she didn’t enjoy the experience as it did not have the right level of “intimacy” for her.
