Windsor Great Park Illuminated is a family-friendly Christmas day out with dazzling lights, marshmallow toasting, and dog-friendly walks. The park, well known for Windsor Castle, has amazing grounds to host the Christmas fun.

The Christmas spectacular is back this year and brings the woodland to life with dazzling lights. Some of the lights will be returning favourites, but there will also be a load of new installations.

In the park, you can find a forest trail full of music and light through the forest that brings woodland creatures to life. There are also a whole host of festive moments during the tail to get you right in the Christmas spirit.

Windsor Great Park Illuminated is set in the park's woodland area, near the Savil Garden and the Obelisk Pond. The trail stretches 2.2 kilometres long, and it can take up to two hours to walk with stops.

There are other things to enjoy along the way, too. At one of the cosy rest stops, you can grab a dish, mulled wine, and hot chocolate or toast a marshmallow. The trail is dog-friendly as well, which means that everyone can enjoy it.

The festive activity opened on November 15 and continues until January 4, 2025. Until November 28, the park is open from 4.30pm to 10.30pm, and from November 29, it opens just slightly earlier at 4.15pm.

Tickets can be purchased online with adults costing from £19.80 to £29.15 and Children (3-15 years) from £12.10 to £18.70, depending on whether you go Super Off Peak, Off Peak or at Peak times.
