Yahoo News Wingstop sets opening date for new Lakeside Shopping Centre restaurant
Hugely popular American fried chicken wing restaurant chain Wingstop has announced an opening date for its new Essex store. The company has been working behind the scenes on a new restaurant in Lakeside Shopping Centre in Thurrock which is now set to open early next year.
Wingstop Inc. is an American international chain of restaurants that primarily sells buffalo wings. It branched out to the UK in recent years and has become immensely popular due to the range of flavours available and different ways that you can order your chicken.
It currently has restaurants in Southend and Chelmsford in Essex along with Bluewater Shopping Centre across the border in Dartford. Wingstop shared a story on Instagram in July this year showing the currently closed location for its next Essex venue.

Wingstop is set to open its next location in Lakeside Shopping Centre in Grays. It will be located near to some other eateries, including Brick Lane Bagel, Pizza Hut and Love Churros. An opening date for the venu has now been confirmed for February 3, 2025, for dining in and click and collect orders.
The new store will be open seven days a week from 11am to 11pm. Customers can expect their full range of flavours to be on offer, including the spicey Mango Habanero, classic Buffalo and the Garlic and Parmasan wings. The chain are hiring for more staff for various restaurants across the UK, though there are currently no available positions for their Thurrock store listed online.
