Winnie The Pooh has become an evil killer hunting a group of teens in the terrifying first trailer for horror movie Blood And Honey.

The children's favourite has been given a horror makeover, which fans have already predicted will give them nightmares.

And the bear in the first teaser is a far cry from AA Milne’s honey-loving character.

The trailer starts with a much older Christopher Robin wandering through 100 Acre Wood looking for his old pals Pooh and Piglet.

But things don't look like they used to and a headstone ominously marked 'Eeyore RIP' comes into view.

The tagline explains that the animals were abandoned by Christopher and have gone "wild", before various terrifying scenes unfold showing teens being hunted, Pooh whacking someone with a sledgehammer and a girl covered in blood.

"We used to be friends, why are you doing this?" sobs Christopher as he runs for his life in one scary scene.

Fans said they can't wait for the slasher flick, which is being directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield.

One tweeted: "I cannot wait to see this movie! It's going to be bad, but who cares!"

Another said it was an "impressive concept".

"IT LOOKS SO GOOD," said someone else.

However, plenty of people think the whole thing is pretty shocking.

One tweeted: "I have seen everything now. Winnie the Pooh as a slasher villain. I mean don’t get me wrong, I like my horror movies cover but this one is strange, real strange."
