Winter Conditions Cause Multi-Vehicle Pileup on Colorado Interstate

Slick road conditions caused a crash involving about 20 vehicles on an interstate in Colorado on Wednesday, January 18, according to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP).

Images posted to Twitter by the CSP show a car crushed between two semi-trucks on Interstate 70 between East Airpark Road and the Kansas state line on Wednesday afternoon.

Following the incident, the CSP warned travelers that the area would still be treacherous due to “high winds and slick roads.”

No injuries were reported following the incident, the CSP said.
