Winter Storm Brings Rain and Snow to Northern California

A winter storm hit Northern California on Tuesday, March 28, bringing rain, snow, and wind to towns around the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Bay Area.

Mountainous areas could get up to 3 inches of snow, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. In the Bay Area, urban flooding caused by excessive rainfall was possible, the NWS said.
