Winter Storm Brings Snow to Long Island

The National Weather Service (NWS) said a winter storm could bring as much as one inch of snow per hour to parts of New York on Monday night, February 27.

The service said the storm would continue into Tuesday, but that a sleety mix along coastal regions would shift into “plain rain” come morning.
