Winter Weather Transforms Massachusetts Yard Into 'Snow Globe'

A “major” winter storm dropped more than two feet of snow in some parts of Massachusetts on Tuesday, December 3, according to reports from the National Weather Service (NWS).

The weather service recorded 25 inches of snowfall in several Worcester County towns.

The NWS said the snow created a “very slow and treacherous commute” in eastern Massachusetts. Local media reported more than 2,200 customers in Massachusetts were without power on Tuesday.

This video, filmed by Boston-based meteorologist David J Bagley, shows snow covering the backyard of his home in Saugus, Massachusetts, as snow falls in slow motion. Bagley described the winter weather as a “snow globe” in his yard.
