Wintry flurries of snow hail and sleet fall in central London
Wintry flurries of snow hail and sleet struck parts of London today.
Office workers told of their surprise to see snow fall briefly in central parts of the capital and parts of west London.
One office worker wrote: "Just had sleet and snow in Victoria London."
A Twitter user posted: "How did it just HEAVILY snow for a few minutes in LONDON at the end of APRIL?!?!?"

Yesterday wintry showers were predicted to sweep parts of the UK, including London.
A Met Office spokesman said: "As we go over the next 36 hours those wintry showers will become quite frequent."
