Wintry set for Peaky Blinders film crews at Netherton's Bumble Hole and Warrens Hall Nature Reserve
Film crews working on the production of Peaky Blinders have woken up to wintry scenes today as snow fell on the West Midlands. Netherton's Bumble Hole and Warrens Hall Nature Reserve was pictured looking like a winter wonderland with snow covering the trees and canal towpath.
The nature reserve and the Dudley Canal that passes through it are being used as an outdoor film set by Oblik Productions Ltd. A large quantity of props, including coal sacks, barrels and carts, have been gathered on site alongside canal boats.
Filming was due to take place today (November 19) from 10am until 4pm and tomorrow on Wednesday (November 20) from 6am until 4pm. However it's not clear whether the snow and wintry weather will have an impact on filming, due to changing the appearance of the scenery.

The canal towpath between Cobb's End Bridge to Bullfield Bridge and Bumble Hole Bridge is closed until Friday (November 22) while mooring has also been suspended over the same period of time. It's the second time that the production company has used the Netherton nature reserve as a film set.

Last month, film crews were spotted at the mouth of Netherton Tunnel with similar props in place. Canal boats were also pictured moored next to the towpath.
The Peaky Blinders film, named The Immortal Man, will appear on Netflix and is set to be released either late 2025 or early 2026.
