Witness Captures Dramatic Scenes as Fire Spreads in Bel Air

Crews worked to contain a brush fire that broke out in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles, California, in the early hours of Wednesday, June 10, amid hot and dry conditions.

The fire, which spread to an estimated 50 acres, according to officials, broke out along Interstate 405 in the Sepulveda Pass area. No homes were threatened and no structures were damaged, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The Los Angeles Fire Department said the fire was 25 percent contained by Wednesday morning as crews worked on “steep, difficult terrain.”
