Wolverhampton North East 2024 general election candidates

Wolverhampton North East is expected to come under serious pressure from Labour in the 2024 General Election. It was won by the Conservatives in 2019, under Boris Johnson, but has largely been held by Labour in the past.

Labour is targeting seats across the Black Country as it tries to regain control of the red wall. That means pressure on Wolverhampton North East MP Jane Stevenson five years on from claiming the seat.

Labour are targeting the Tories up and down the country, and Electoral Calculus thinks they'll succeed here. It comes amidst a tough time for Rishi Sunak's party which is predicted to lose despite an 80-seat majority in 2019.
