Chelsea can ill-afford any more dropped points as they head to Wolves this afternoon, having lost ground to Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League title race.

The Blues travel to Molineux four points behind leaders City after they were held to a 1-1 draw by a depleted Everton at Stamford Bridge on Thursday.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have dropped to third and cannot afford another slip-up.

They face a tough test against a Wolves side who are up to eighth following their 1-0 win at Brighton on Wednesday and are enjoying a good season under new manager Bruno Lage.

Only a goal from Divock Origi deep into stoppage time gave Liverpool victory, while Manchester City needed a contentious penalty.

Tuchel will be expecting a tough test, but Chelsea must find a way to win.

Chelsea to win 1-0.
