Woman, 60, robbed by three masked men in Lisburn

A 60-year-old woman in Lisburn has been left extremely shaken after being robbed in her home by three masked men.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the burglary on Nettlehill Road on Friday night.

Around 8.30pm, the victim answered a knock to her door and three men wearing balaclavas forced their way into the house.

One of the men forced the woman into the living room and held her down on the settee while the other two suspects searched the house.

They took a small sum of cash and a mobile phone and are believed to have made off in a white or silver coloured family-sized car.

A PSNI spokesman said: “This was a disgraceful and terrifying attack on a 60 year old lady in her own home.

“Whilst not physically injured she has been left extremely shaken by this horrific attack.

“The individuals who carried out this attack must be caught and I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and who has seen anything suspicious or seen a silver or white car speed off from the area between 8.30pm and 9pm.
