Yahoo News Woman, 85, dies after car and bus collision on M6
A woman has died after a car and bus were involved in a collision on the M6.
Rita Thomas was the driver of a Hyundai which collided with a bus on Thursday (September 19). The 85-year-old from Thornton-Cleveleys was travelling on junction 37 of the M6 at the time of the accident.
She died later in hospital.

The passenger in the car was also taken to hospital and remains in a serious but stable condition. The driver of the bus was uninjured.
