Woman airlifted to Edinburgh hospital after 'serious incident at holiday park'
A pensioner has been airlifted to an Edinburgh hospital following a major incident at a nearby holiday park.
Locals in Port Seton reported seeing a huge police presence and several ambulances at Seton Sands Holiday Park, East Lothian, on Sunday morning, with the incident believed to have taken place within the site.
Images from the scene show an air ambulance having landed on Links Road before it was closed off to motorists. Several police vehicles and officers can also be seen on the road outside the park.

Police say an 86-year-old woman was struck by a car in the Seton Sands area of Port Seton and subsequently airlifted to hospital with "serious injuries".
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.50am on Sunday, 22 September, 2024 we were made aware of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in the Seton Sands area of Port Seton.

"The pedestrian, an 86-year-old woman, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh by air ambulance with serious injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
