Woman appears in court for bad driving over 100 miles away from home

A WOMAN has appeared in court for driving without due care and attention more than 100 miles away from home.

Tracey Malins, 50, was stopped by officers while driving along Pear Tree Lane in Fulstow, Lincolnshire, back in July.

The road where she was caught driving without due care and attention is over 120 miles away from her home on Bolton Road, Blackburn.

Malins, who was present at her Lincolnshire Magistrates' Court hearing, was fined £384.

She was also ordered to pay a £38 victim impact fee and an £85 contribution towards the cost of the case.

The defendant, who admitted the charge, also had five points added onto her licence.

The full amount must be paid by June 26.
