Woman arrested after fatal crash with pedestrian on New Year's Eve in North London
A woman in her 20s has been arrested in connection to a fatal crash in Enfield on New Year's Eve. A 58-year-old woman was run down on Argon Road at the junction with Albany Road, N18, at 12.45pm.
London Ambulance Service paramedics rushed to the scene after there were reports of black Peugeot 208 hitting a woman. They found her but she sadly died at the scene despite their best efforts. Her next of kin have been informed and continue to be supported by specialist officers.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating. They would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision or captured it on dash cam.
