Girlfriend, 36, arrested after 'hacking off partner's penis because he complimented another woman's looks'

A woman has been arrested after she allegedly hacked off her boyfriend’s penis in a fit of jealousy because he complimented another woman’s looks.

Zhanna Nurzhanova, 36, was reportedly furious after discovering that her boyfriend had sent photos of another woman to his sister on his smartphone.

The man, who has not been named, reportedly made a complimentary comment about the appearance of the woman, who is thought to be an acquaintance.

Nurzhanova is accused of giving her boyfriend a sleeping pill and waiting for him to pass out at their home in the Kazakh capital of Astana.

After he fell asleep, the woman then allegedly injected him with a local anaesthetic and cut off his penis.

Nurzhanova is believed to have driven him to a local hospital for treatment,
where doctors called police and she was arrested.

Surgeons desperately attempted to reattach the man’s severed penis, but the damage was reportedly too severe to repair.

According to local reports, Nurzhanova faced unspecified charges and a sentence of up to six years in jail if she is convicted.

’It looks like she made this decision with a cool head’, one local commenter wrote online.
