Woman Arrested Over Fatal Chelsea Stabbing

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was stabbed to death in Chelsea.

The 48-year-old was taken into custody in central London following the incident at an address on Stadium Street at about 1.20am on Sunday.

London Ambulance Service also arrived but the 35-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene about 20 minutes later.

Police believe they know the victim's identity but are still trying to trace her next of kin so she can be formally identified.

Meanwhile, the Homicide and Major Crime Command has launched a murder investigation.
