Woman arrested after what police found when they stopped car

A woman has been arrested after police stopped a car and found a large quantity of cash and suspected drugs. Merseyside Police stopped a Citroen car on Henry Street in the city centre at around 7.35pm yesterday, Wednesday, November 27 and a search was carried out.

Police recovered a large quantity of cash together with suspected Class A and B drugs including cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, Ecstasy, LSD and magic mushroom and two mobile phones. A woman has been arrested.

The 35-year-old was held on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine and MDMA) and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs (cannabis resin). She is currently in custody while enquiries continue.
