Woman Celebrates Passover With Grandparents Over Video Due to Coronavirus Restrictions
The restrictions on people’s daily lives that COVID-19 has caused around the world mean people are finding unusual ways to celebrate holidays together. Sarah Marks in Australia enjoyed a Passover seder with her grandparents by video call on April 8.
As seder was being prepared, a meal that marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday, Marks talked to her grandparents who “live only 30 minutes away” from her in Sydney.
“Usually we have a big dinner but this year we are isolating due to Covid-19”, Marks said.
