Woman charged with murder after man stabbed in Cricklewood
A woman has been charged with murder after a man was stabbed to death in his own home in Cricklewood, west London.
Gary Sampson, 34, was found critically injured with a stab wound at his house on Westcroft Close just after 8am on Friday.
He died a short time later despite best efforts from paramedics.
A post-mortem examination held on Saturday gave his cause of death as shock and hemorrhaging caused by a stab wound.
Mr Sampson’s family have been informed but formal identification is yet to be completed, Metropolitan Police said on Sunday.
Marie Nellie, 44, who also lived on Westcroft Close, was arrested at the scene and taken into police custody.
She will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with Mr Sampson’s murder.
Nellie was was known to Mr Sampson, the Met said.
Nobody else is sought in connection with the incident.
A crime scene remains in place at the home in Westcroft Close as a police investigation continues.
