Woman dies in East Kilbride crash tragedy as police and paramedics race to scene
A woman has died following a horror two-vehicle crash in East Kilbride.
Police and paramedics raced to the Glen Doll area of the South Lanarkshire town just before 6pm on Friday. Sadly, the woman, who was one of the drivers, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was injured in what Police Scotland says was a 'medical' incident. A probe has been launched to establish the full circumstances.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We were called around 5.50pm on Friday, 29 November, to a report of a two-vehicle crash in the Glen Doll area of East Kilbride.
"Emergency services attended and one driver, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"No one else was injured and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
