Woman faces drugs and sex charges in care home investigation

Two people have been charged in connection with an investigation into staff at a privately-run care home in Merseyside. Lindy Leah, 43, of Capesthorne Road, Warrington, was charged with abusing a position of trust by engaging in sexual activity with a boy aged 13-17, and being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs (cannabis and ketamine).

Morgan Quigley, 27, of Cooperage Close, Toxteth was charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug (ketamine). A 49-year-old woman from Warrington was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of ketamine and assisting an offender. She is on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

Leah and Quigley appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Friday 6 September. Leah has been further remanded into custody and Quigley has been conditionally bailed. Both are due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 4 October.
