Woman fighting for her life after 'medical episode' in Liverpool city centre
A woman is fighting for her life after suffering a medical episode in the city centre. Officers rushed to the scene on Great Charlotte Street, near McDonald's on the corner of Ranelagh Street close to Liverpool Central Station in the early hours of today, Sunday, November 24.
Emergency services arrived at the scene at around 12.45am where a woman in her 40s was having a medical episode and was rushed to hospital. Merseyside Police has confirmed the woman in is critical condition following the incident.
Officers are working on establishing the circumstances but at this time they are not looking for anyone in connection with the incident. A spokesperson told the ECHO: "We received a report that a woman was having a medical episode on Great Charlotte Street, in Liverpool city centre, at around 12.45am this morning, Sunday 24 November.

"Emergency services attended and the woman, aged in her 40s, was taken to hospital. She is in a critical condition.
