Woman fights for life after prison transport hits two pensioners walking in Yorkshire street
A man and a woman in their 70s have been left with serious injuries after being hit with an army prison transport vehicle in Hatfield, Doncaster.
A DAF GeoAmy prison transport vehicle is believed to have crashed into the two pedestrians on Doncaster Road, at the junction with Coppice Avenue. The crash took place on Wednesday, November 13 at around 3.34pm.
Both were seen by medics and transported to hospital. The 74-year-old woman is in a life-threatening condition, whereas the 77-year-old man is in a non-life-threatening condition.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to officers, or anyone with footage or information."
