Woman Forms Prayer Circle With Police Officers in Washington

A woman approached police officers in Washington, DC, on June 2 and asked to pray with them, police said on Twitter.

The woman placed her hands on officers’ shoulders on either side of her as they formed a circle. She then started a prayer and invited the officers to join in.

“I ask right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that you allow no hurt, harm or danger to come upon their lives… that you keep their families safe… that you keep their friends safe,” the woman said.

“Yesterday, a young woman approached a few of our officers & asked to pray for them. She understood that being an officer is sometimes tough & that our safety is also important,” DC Police wrote. Credit: DC Police via Storyful
