Woman held after police drugs raid in Barton

A woman was arrested on suspicion of supplying cocaine as police raided a house in Barton.

A marked police van and unmarked SUV could be seen on Edgecombe Road on Monday night.

Thames Valley Police said a 49-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs - cocaine - and, as of Tuesday afternoon, remains in police custody.

No further detail has been given by the police about what was found during Monday night’s raid.
