Woman injured after crashing into parked car in Kenilworth

A woman was left injured after flipping her car in Kenilworth. She reportedly collided with a parked vehicle on Spring Lane.

Paramedics were called to the incident at around 3.55pm on Friday (January 24). Police also attended and closed off Spring Lane at the junction with Whateleys Drive.

Crews found that a woman, who has not been identified, had sustained minor injuries. She was quickly taken to Warwick Hospital.

In a statement issued today (January 27), West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of an RTC at the junction of Spring Lane and Whateleys Drive in Kenilworth at 3.55pm on Friday (January 24). A woman was assessed and found with no apparent serious injuries. She was conveyed to Warwick Hospital for further precautionary checks.”

A spokesman for Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service added: “We received reports of a person trapped inside a vehicle following an RTC on Spring Lane in Kenilworth. Crews attended the scene and found that the driver had managed to free themselves from the vehicle and was in the care of West Midlands Ambulance Service. Police were also in attendance.”
