Woman injured in 'disorder' near Coventry city centre

A woman was left with a head injury after an incident in Coventry. It happened on Far Gosford Street.

Police were called to the city centre street in the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday, June 2). Officers reached the scene at around 3am.

Cops said that a disorder had broken out which left a woman with a minor head injury. Witnesses have been urged to get in touch with West Midlands Police.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We were called following disorder involving women on Far Gosford Street in Coventry at around 3am on Sunday (June 2).
