Woman injured in Dudley rush-hour crash

A woman was injured in a rush-hour car crash in Dudley. Two cars collided at the junction of Oakham Road and Dixons Green Road.

Medics were sent to the scene at 8.18am on Tuesday, January 14. The woman was assessed for minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

There were no other casualties. National Express West Midlands was forced to divert bus services 7, 19 and X8 from Dudley in the aftermath of the smash. However the road has now cleared and routes have returned to normal.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a two car road traffic collision at the junction of Oakham Road and Dixons Green Road at 8.18am. We sent an ambulance, a MERIT trauma doctor and a critical care paramedic to the scene."

"On arrival crews found a woman, who they assessed for minor injuries before discharging her at the scene. There were no other patients."
