Woman injured after single-vehicle crash in Coventry

A woman was left injured following a single-vehicle crash in Coventry. It happened on Sky Blue Way.

Medics rushed to the scene at around 6pm on Friday (October 18). Police are also said to have attended and blocked off part of Sky Blue Way.

Crews found that a woman, the driver of the vehicle, had sustained minor injuries. She was quickly taken to University Hospital Coventry in Walsgrave.

It was one of two crashes that happened on Sky Blue Way on Friday. Two people sustained minor injuries in a collision at the junction with Far Gosford Street in the early hours of the morning (October 18).

In a statement about the single-vehicle crash that happened at 6pm, West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We came across an RTC on Sky Blue Way in Coventry at 6.02pm on Friday (October 18). A woman was assessed and conveyed to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire as a precaution.”
