Woman who lost 60lbs in 4 months reveals how she did it with one key health change
A woman who managed to lost 60lbs in four months has revealed how she did it and says a major health change is needed.
TikTok user @theneptunianbaby has shared her weight loss journey and has since gone viral as she told members of the public how to lose weight healthily. She said "gut health" was a major change needed and doing so meant she was shedding the pounds over the course of four months.
She said: "The main thing that you need to prioritise is your gut health. Your gut health is really important. If your digestion is off, if your absorption abilities are off, if your utilisation abilities are off, and if your elimination is off, then you're gonna have some problems in the weight department."

One of the key changes to make is to "move stagnant energy" and to do so means more exercise. Zara said to "prioritise gut health" more than anything and said adding black seed oil may be beneficial to those wanting a natural remedy addition for their weight loss journey.
Zara also suggested fasting though key health experts and the NHS advises against this type of fad diet. The NHS website reads: "Avoid fad diets that recommend unsafe practices, such as fasting (going without food for long periods of time) or cutting out entire food groups.
"These types of diets do not work, can make you feel ill, and are not sustainable because they do not teach you long-term healthy eating habits.
"This is not to say that all commercial diet programmes are unsafe. Many are based on sound medical and scientific principles and can work well for some people." Exercise is tipped as a leading way to lose weight and the NHS has advised several foods to aid gut health.
They said: "Fatty foods, such as chips, burgers and fried foods, are harder to digest and can cause stomach pain and heartburn. Cut back on greasy fried foods to ease your stomach's workload. Try to eat more lean meat and fish, drink skimmed or semi-skimmed milk, and grill rather than fry foods."
