Woman pedestrian tragically killed after collision with car
A woman pedestrian has been killed in a collision with a car. She died at the scene in Blurton, Stoke on Trent.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said they were called at 11.40am today, Monday, November 18, following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Blurton Road. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival we found a woman who was a pedestrian. She was assessed by ambulance staff and had sustained life-threatening injuries.

“Ambulance staff administered advanced life support and advanced trauma care to her at the scene. Despite their best efforts, it became clear that nothing more could be done to save her, and she was confirmed deceased at the scene.” No further patients required treatment.
