Woman seriously injured after crash on Cambridgeshire A-road
A woman was seriously injured after a crash in Cambridgeshire on Sunday (November 17). Officers investigating the crash on the A505 between Royston and Duxford have appealed for witnesses.
A black Honda Civic was involved in a collision with a silver Skoda Citigo on the westbound carriageway near Fowlmere at about 4pm. Emergency services attended and the road was closed.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "Both drivers received minor injuries. A woman in her 60s who was a passenger in the Skoda suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment."

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called just after 3.50pm on Sunday 17 November to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on the A505 between Royston and Duxford. Three ambulances, an two ambulance officer vehicles, the Hazardous Area Response Team and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"An adult woman was transported to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious injuries. An adult man and woman were also transported to Addenbrooke's Hospital with minor injuries."
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or believes they saw the vehicles in the build-up to it, is urged by police to contact a member of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit online quoting incident 355 of 17 November. They can also call 101.
