Woman shares time-saving life hack she uses when hanging out washing

Every little helps when it comes to easing household chores. In fact, sometimes, we’ll take all the help we can get. Hence why we love a life hack.

So when a viral TikTok hack that saves us both time and effort on hanging out the laundry, you know we’re all ears.

That's what one mum online has claimed her secret hack can do. The woman, who posts on TikTok under the username @leralynn27, shared a now-viral video in which she revealed the tactic she uses to save both time and effort when it comes to hanging her washing out to dry.

And no, it doesn’t involve a laundry basket.

Leralynn says that rather than emptying her washing machine into a laundry basket, the mum lays them on top of one another in a pile, and throws it over her shoulder.

She then places each piece of clothing on the washing line, and follows with a single peg in the centre. As the items are already placed flat on her shoulder, there is no need to spend time unfolding them or shaking them out.

Plus, there is no need to bend down to your washing basket over and over.

The woman used the viral sound ‘Ultimate life hacks’ by Kelly Hurst to share her trick with followers. The voiceover says “show me the life hack that you randomly saw one day that is now an unconscious standard practice in your life,” and then allows the user to then share their tips and tricks.

“My laundry hack which I explain to people and they think I'm crazy!” Leralynn captioned the 42-second video. “But it ACTUALLY works!”

“Undies and socks in the dryer, big things on the line,” she added.“This saves me time and bending down!”

Other TikTok users agreed. “I've always done it this way, one user commented. “What on earth is the other that so many people have been doing?!”

“Work smarter not harder really came through in this video,” added another.
