Woman struck by car in Dudley and left with 'potentially serious injuries'
A woman suffered potentially serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Black Country. The victim suffered a leg injury after the incident took place on Central Drive in the Gornalwood area of Dudley borough shortly before 6pm on Wednesday (November 13).
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding and has since been bailed as investigations continue. A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We arrested a 25-year-old man after a woman was injured when she was struck by a vehicle.
"We were called to Central Drive, Lower Gornal, shortly after 6pm last night (13 November). A woman was taken to hospital with a leg injury.

"A 25-year-old man was taken into custody on suspicion of wounding. He has since been bailed with strict conditions as we continue with our inquiries."
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent one ambulance and a critical care car to the scene. The woman was assessed at the scene before being rushed to hospital on blue lights.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called just after 6pm on Wednesday to a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Central Drive, Gornalwood in Dudley. One ambulance and the WMAS Critical Care Car attended the scene.
"Upon arrival we found a woman who was the pedestrian. She was assessed and had sustained potentially serious injuries. She was conveyed to hospital under emergency blue light conditions for further assessment."
