Woman stuck in moorland bog 'up to her waist' rescued by firefighters
A woman who was stuck in a moorland bog up to her waist was rescued by firefighters this morning.
The woman was walking her dog when she got stuck in a bog on moorland at Holme Moss, near Holmfirth, this morning (Thursday).
Firefighters from Holmfirth fire station attended the scene at around 9am along with specialist rescue firefighters.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews responded to a call from a lady who was stuck in a bog up to her waist on moorland in Holmfirth area whilst walking her dog.
"Crews successfully located the lady and led her to safety. She was left in the care of the ambulance service for a check up."
A fire engine from Holmfirth attended along with specialist resources and officers from technical rescue and water rescue stations.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We received an emergency call at 9.20am on Thursday morning to report a female stuck in a bog on moorland in Holmfirth area.
"An ambulance, the Hazardous Area Response Team and a team leader were dispatched to the incident and one patient was checked over on scene but did not need to be conveyed to hospital."
