Travellers who prefer to fly light with just hand luggage may get to packing and then worry they don't have enough space for the essentials they need.

From skincare products to a variety of bikinis and evening wear, it's easy to underestimate how much room these items can occupy once you start packing.

But fear not, as a social media star shared a clip demonstrating how one savvy woman who was "flying with RyanAir" managed to circumvent the strict rules without paying extra for additional bags, which can be quite costly.

The video showed the woman in what appeared to be a simple midi-length strappy black dress.

In a post by Ibiza Times (@theibizatimes), viewers were in for a surprise.

Upon lifting her dress, the woman revealed an ingenious solution that left onlookers amused.

Beneath her summery attire, she sported shorts with several crossbody-style bags attached, allowing her to pack more while presumably travelling with only cabin baggage.

RyanAir's policy outlines: "Priority and 2 Cabin Bags: This allows you to carry a small personal bag (40x20x25cm), which must fit under the seat in front of you and a 10kg bag (55x40x20cm) onboard, to be stored in the overhead locker."

It also includes the benefit of being among the first to board the aircraft via the Priority Boarding queue at the gate.

After revealing her bags, she quickly adjusted her dress back to its normal position, leaving no one any the wiser.

Many users responded with crying with laughter emojis in the comments section.

"Great idea", complimented one user, while another mentioned they would "try it".

Others shared that the hack seemed like the antics of their friends.

"Omg", wrote an Instagram user.
