Woman's body pulled from river - but cops still can't identify her six months on
Mystery remains over the identify of a woman whose body was found in a river six months ago.
The petite woman, who was wearing a lime-green Primark crop top and New Look jeans, was pulled from the River Mersey at Chorlton Water Park in Greater Manchester in March.
Despite cops issuing numerous public appeals for information, her identity is still unknown. A member of the public first alerted emergency services to the discovery at around 11.10am on Thursday, March 21, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The woman, who was 156cm tall, with a slim build and medium-length dark brown hair, was retrieved from the water - but, few details about her are known even months later.
No one has come forward to identify her or link her to a missing person case despite police appeals, indicating that she may be from overseas.
Cops have said that, despite an extensive probe, including specialist examinations, DNA testing, and reviews of missing persons records, her identity remains a mystery. The woman was also wearing size eight, New Look-branded Jenna jeans and green non-slip socks but she had no identifiable items in her pockets or visible jewellery.
Greater Manchester Police has stated that they're still investigating, with key details about her identity and the manner of her death remaining unclear.
Detective Inspector Louise Edwards of GMP's Major Investigation Team said: "We are determined to reunite this woman with her family and friends and establish the cause of her death. I would urge anyone with information to please come forward.
