Woman's brutal relationship advice to women dating men with beards divides opinions
A woman has sparked a debate online after suggesting that women should see their bearded boyfriends clean-shaven before committing to them. The woman, known as @nothingbutkap on social media, has gained over 32,000 followers by sharing humorous content about her life. Recently, she responded to claims that women 'catfish' men with makeup by arguing that beards can have the same effect. In a video that has received over 930,000 likes, she humorously suggested that women should ask their bearded partners to shave so they can see their true appearance underneath. She said: "This is for all my ladies out there. If you are dating a man with a beard before you get married, I'm talking about within the first, maybe six months of dating, right? Make sure he shaves it off. He can grow it back. I'm not even trying to say shaved off forever.
"But you need to see what he looks like without that beard. Because one day, God forbid, you're married and you've never seen him without a beard. And he decides well, you know what? I'm done with this beard. Shaved it off. Then a stranger walks in the room, a stranger. You're breaking down because you don't know who that is.
"Your child is crying because you don't even recognise Dada and the whole family structure is falling apart. Men look so different. They look so different without their beards. It's like shaving your head. You really don't have to shave your beard." However, she was aware that the clip, which she shared in good humour, might not go down well with some blokes online who could argue it's comparable to women wearing makeup, Nevertheless, she persisted: "You look extremely different without a beard. Lord forbid, I just want to see what's up under there. I just want to see what it looks like."
TikTok users were left divided over the clip as they took to the comments to give their opinions. One user said: "He did it and I told him never again." Another added: "It's called beard fishing. It's up there with hat fishing," while a third commented: "A beard is equivalent to a BBL..." Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: "My dad did this once and it traumatised the whole family."
