Oven cleaning can often seem like a daunting task, but it might just be that you've been approaching it all wrong.

A cleaning expert has revealed that getting your oven glass door spotless is a breeze with the "best oven cleaning tools" at hand. On the Mrs Hinch Army Cleaning Tips Facebook group, Telbel Sparkles shared her secret to an effortlessly clean oven door, insisting that there's no need for harsh scrubbing or pricey cleaners if you have two key items.

She said: "Cleaning the oven door has never been easier with my new best oven cleaning tools." Addressing the previously grimy state of her oven glass door, Telbel added: "Please don't judge I have been preoccupied with personal stuff but finally catching up."

She added: "No more expensive oven cleaners and scrubbing as Elbow Grease sprayed on with a glass scrapper is all you need for the grease to glide right off. It worked miracles on my oven." Telbel also posted a before-and-after photo showcasing the remarkable transformation of her oven door to a sparkling finish, reports the Express.

In addition, she uploaded a brief video demonstrating the glass scraper in action, with grease stains visibly sliding away. For those keen to try Telbel's method, a one-litre bottle of the Elbow Grease spray she recommends is available on Amazon for £2.29, reduced from £4.30, or a 500ml bottle can be found at Asda for just £1.25.

When discussing the glass scraper, Telbel suggested getting one from Amazon, where households can snag the multi-surface glass scraper tool for £8.49, reduced from £9.99, or the Minky ceramic hob scraper priced at £4.94.

Responding to a query in the comments about how long the process takes, Telbel said: "I'm impatient. I just sprayed it [the Elbow Grease] on and scraped it off. It took me less than 10 minutes." The tip has garnered admiration from other Mrs Hinch fans who are keen to try it themselves.

Jasmine Taylor said: "I've always used a scraper on my oven, but paired with Elbow Grease, it's fantastic." Karina McKenna said: "Omg my oven door is all marked and I can't ever get it clean! Guess what I'm doing today! ".

Rebecca Chadwick added: "Best thing ever using a scraper to clean the glass. I've done it for years after I watched a professional cleaning company do mine with one."

Yvette McArthur said: "The best way to clean oven door glass. I've always done it this way!"
