Women caught on camera brawling outside Hanley Wetherspoons
This was the moment two women were caught on camera brawling outside Hanley Wetherspoons in the middle of the day. Footage of the horrifying city centre incident shows one woman drag the other to the ground by her hair in Parliament Row as a can spills its contents.
She then holds the woman on the floor as they grapple with each other. The filming continues as shouts of 'get off her now' and 'both of you stop' can be heard.
Passersby can be seen casually walking past before one steps in to help. Two more people then try to intervene before the pair are finally separated after around 50 seconds.

One StokeonTrentLive reader, who sent in the footage which was earlier this month, said: "There was a big fight between two women. There's lots of issues with the rough sleepers fighting in Hanley."
It is the latest video to lay bear the issues gripping the city centre with street fights, drug use and anti-social behaviour.
Only last week two men - including one brandishing a hammer - were filmed fighting in an alleyway that runs alongside Waterstones between Tontine Street and Parliament Row. At points, the hammer repeatedly hit the window of Reel Leisure Time Amusements.
Police, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and business leaders are continuing work to make the city centre a safe place to live, work and shop.
Initiatives have included weeks of action where officials tackle issues such as homelessness, addiction and mental health, as well spruce up the area with Operation Sparkle.
Councillor David Williams, cabinet member for community safety and resilience at the local authority, said in May: "We've heard you when you tell us you're concerned about anti-social behaviour in our city centre. I know you have real concerns about it and so too, do our local businesses in the city.
"We will continue to work alongside Staffordshire Police to reduce and prevent crime and anti-social behaviour so that Hanley is a great place for all of us. Please do come into Hanley and do support local businesses as they really do deserve our support."
