A woman has admitted to travelling more than 150 miles via a two-hour train and taxi journey just to buy some ice cream. On TikTok, Jordan Edwards - the name and face behind JJ's Ices - has become a viral sensation.

He regularly uploads videos of his modernised take on the traditional ice cream van experience. He offers a variety of toppings beyond the classic sauce, sherbet and flake (which he still sells) that fans adore.

The successful business has become a viral success since launching in 2023. Jordan now boasts of more than 732k TikTok followers who tune into his videos and livestreams.

Some customers will come simply because they've seen his online content - even if it means travelling hundreds of miles. In a recent TikTok video, which has been viewed 690k times, a customer approaches the van and places her order.

She jokes: "I hope this is nice... I've come all the way from Birmingham for this!"

Jordan films himself preparing two treats, laced with sweets and sauces. He assures the woman: "This will be the best ice cream you've had in your life."

As he works, the woman explains her journey from Birmingham to St Helens, Merseyside, that included taking a two-hour train followed by a taxi. She says altogether it worked out as roughly "150 miles".

For making the effort, Jordan offers her the ice creams "on him" as a thank you. Amassing a following online, the popular van is tracked by thousands online as the van parks up in locations around the town.

Darts sensation Luke 'The Nuke' Litter, from Warrington, was recently filmed ordering a round of treats with his girlfriend and parents. Jordan posts on his social platforms - including Facebook and Instagram - when and where he'll be around the town for anyone hunting down his signature sweet treats.
