Women's Strike Assembly take over London's Piccadilly Circus for International Women’s Day
Protesters gathered over the whole of London's iconic Picadilly Circus, wrapping a large piece of red fabric around them for International Women’s Day (March 8). Protesters took to the streets to demand that no more women are murdered: in our homes, on the streets, or in our jobs. Onlookers gathered, took photos, and joined in. Banners read "We want to live" and "Bodies, Minds, Power".
