Women's Tour cycling race zooms through mid-Wales from Wrexham to Welshpool

The Women's Tour cycling race whizzed from Wrexham to Welshpool for one of its Welsh stages, on Thursday 9 June. Video filmed near Montgomery in Powys showed groups of cyclists racing by, accompanied by support cars and police motorbikes. The 90-mile trip from Wrexham to Welshpool was Stage Four of the UCI Women’s WorldTour event. It was the first time the tour had visited either town. Over 100 of the world's top female riders took part in the race through mid-Wales.
