Wonder Woman 2 will be the first film to use new anti-sexual harassment guidelines from the Producer's Guild of America (PGA).

In the wake of widespread allegations and admissions of sexual harassment, discrimination and misconduct in Hollywood, the PGA published its comprehensive guidelines in full last week.

"For the past three months, the PGA's Anti-Sexual Harassment Task Force has been working diligently on a set of concrete and pragmatic recommendations for producers and team members to recognise and combat sexual harassment both on and off the set," said the PGA's co-presidents Gary Lucchesi and Lori McCreary.

"We're proud to announce that the Task Force has finished the first stage of its work, resulting in the PGA Anti-Sexual Harassment Guidelines."

And they confirmed at the PGA Awards yesterday (January 21) that, perhaps appropriately, Wonder Woman 2 will be the first film to officially use these new guidelines.

They continued: "The Task Force's work is not finished; the Guidelines are likely to change as our industry explores new approaches to this problem and as new resources become available.

"The PGA will continue to work with Time's Up and the industry commission chaired by Anita Hill.

"But for the multitude of producers urgently seeking guidance on how to proceed with their work while holding a firm line against harassment, we believe this document will prove invaluable."

The guidelines outline steps for identifying sexual harassment, recommendations, and protocols for victims, witnesses and producers.

It adds history and background on harassment law, resources for reporting and enforcement, and resources to help in training to tackle sexual harassment.
