Saturday Night Live has announced a truly superheroic second wave of guests for its upcoming 43rd season.

It was already revealed last month that Ryan Gosling will host the September 30 season premiere to promote Blade Runner 2049, with musical accompaniment from Hova himself JAY-Z.

As excited as we are for Gosling's return to SNL, we're even more hyped for week two when Gal Gadot steps onto the stage at Studio 8H after crushing the summer box office with Wonder Woman.

Gal will be joined by Sam Smith, who'll surely be performing his UK chart-topping comeback single 'Too Good at Goodbye' on Saturday, October 7.

Silicon Valley and The Big Sick star Kumail Nanjiani hosts the following Saturday (October 14), with music coming from Pink.

SNL is coming off roaring success at the recent Primetime Emmy Awards, where the sketch comedy show took the Outstanding Variety Sketch Series Award.

Cast member Kate McKinnon also earned an Emmy for her various brilliant characters on the night, as did popular hosts Alec Baldwin, Melissa McCarthy and Dave Chappelle.

Accepting his award, Baldwin poked fun at Donald Trump's fury over never winning an Emmy by quipping: "I suppose I should say, 'At long last, Mr President, here is your Emmy'."

Baldwin will be reprising his Donald Trump impression when Saturday Night Live returns on September 30 at 11.30pm ET/8.30pm PT on NBC.
